RETURN & REFUND POLICY

1. Made-to-Order Production

All MARLEAU products are made-to-order through trusted third-party production partners (including Printful and/or Printify). We do not hold inventory. Each item is produced specifically after an order is placed.

Because of this production model, specific return conditions apply.

Production time typically range between 2-7 business days before shipping.


2. Right of Withdrawal (EU Customers)

If you are a consumer within the European Union, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right:

  • You must notify us within 14 days of delivery via email at:
    info@marleau.shop

  • After notification, you have another 14 days to return the product.

Conditions for return:

  • Item must be unworn

  • Item must be unwashed

  • Item must be undamaged

  • No signs of wear, odor, or use

  • Returned in original condition

We reserve the right to reduce the refund if the product shows signs of use beyond what is necessary to inspect it.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.


3. Non-Returnable Items

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Personalized items

  • Custom-made products

  • Products modified according to customer specifications

In accordance with Article 6:230p Dutch Civil Code, such items are excluded from withdrawal rights.


4. Incorrect Size Ordered

Customers are responsible for reviewing the size chart before placing an order.

Because each product is made to order, we do not offer free exchanges for incorrect size selection.

If you wish to order a different size, a new order must be placed.


5. Damaged or Defective Products

If your order arrives damaged or contains a manufacturing defect, please  contact us within 7 days of delivery at:

Please Include:

  • Order number

  • Clear photos of the product

  • Clear photos showing the issue

If the claim is approved, we will:

  • Send a replacement
    or

  • Issue a full refund

Claims submitted after this period may not be eligible for replacement or refund.


6. Return Approval Required

Returns must be approved before being sent.

Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

The correct return address will be provided after approval.


7. Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect the returned item:

  • You will be notified of approval or rejection.

  • If approved, a refund will be processed within 5–10 business days.

  • Refunds are issued via the original payment method.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Refund will be issued to the original payment method used during purchase.


8. Liability Limitation

MARLEAU is not responsible for:

  • Incorrect size selection

  • Minor color variations due to screen differences

  • Slight placement differences inherent to print-on-demand production

Such variations do not constitute defects.
